Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 18 June 2026

Welcome to SlashCollect Private Limited (“SlashCollect”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SlashCollect website, software, APIs, payment collection platform, dashboards, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, institution, or business, you represent that you have the authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

1. Our Services

SlashCollect provides technology and payment collection infrastructure that enables businesses and educational institutions to manage and automate recurring and scheduled payments. Our Services may include creating and managing payment plans and payment schedules; generating payment links and collection requests; facilitating recurring and scheduled payment collections; sending payment reminders and notifications; tracking payment status and collection performance; providing dashboards, reports, reconciliation, and related operational tools; and integrating payment collection functionality through APIs and other technology interfaces. Payment processing may be facilitated through authorized banks, payment aggregators, payment service providers, UPI infrastructure providers, and other third-party partners. SlashCollect provides technology and workflow infrastructure and does not independently operate or control the banking or payment networks used to process transactions.

2. Eligibility and Account

To use certain Services, you may be required to create an account and provide information about yourself or your organization. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information; maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials; promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account; ensure that individuals accessing the account on your behalf are authorized to do so; and take responsibility for activities carried out through your account. SlashCollect reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts where we reasonably believe that the Services are being misused or these Terms are being violated.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the Services only for lawful and legitimate business purposes. You must not use the Services for fraudulent, unlawful, or unauthorized activities; provide false, misleading, or inaccurate information; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or another user’s account; interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Services; copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or commercially exploit the Services without our written permission; reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our software; or use the Services in a manner that violates applicable laws, regulations, payment network rules, or third-party terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Payment Processing

SlashCollect facilitates payment collection through third-party payment and banking partners. When a payment is initiated through the platform, the transaction may be subject to the terms, policies, availability, and processing procedures of the relevant payment provider, bank, card network, UPI infrastructure, or other financial institution. SlashCollect does not guarantee that every payment will be successfully processed, settled, or collected on a particular date. Transactions may fail, be delayed, reversed, refunded, rejected, or otherwise affected due to circumstances including payment failures, insufficient funds, bank or network issues, technical failures, regulatory requirements, or actions of third-party payment providers.

5. Payment Plans and Authorizations

Where the Services allow users to create recurring or scheduled payment plans, the applicable payment instructions, authorization, mandate, or payment mechanism may be subject to additional terms and requirements. The business or institution initiating a collection is responsible for ensuring that the payment amount and schedule communicated to the customer are accurate; appropriate authorization or consent is obtained where required; customers receive relevant information regarding the payment plan; and collection activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and payment network requirements. SlashCollect is not responsible for disputes arising from inaccurate payment instructions or unauthorized instructions provided by a user.

6. Fees and Charges

Certain Services may be subject to fees, transaction charges, subscription fees, or other applicable charges. Any applicable fees will be communicated to the relevant customer or business before or during onboarding or use of the applicable Services. Third-party payment providers, banks, or other service providers may separately impose charges in accordance with their applicable terms.

7. Refunds and Disputes

Refunds, cancellations, failed transactions, chargebacks, and payment disputes may be subject to the applicable policies and procedures of the relevant payment provider or financial institution. Where applicable, SlashCollect may assist with payment-related information or reconciliation, but the final processing of a refund, reversal, chargeback, or dispute may be determined by the relevant payment provider or financial institution.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the SlashCollect platform, software, APIs, website, design, trademarks, logos, content, documentation, and other intellectual property belong to SlashCollect Private Limited or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any SlashCollect intellectual property. Subject to these Terms, SlashCollect grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Services for their intended purpose.

9. Third-Party Services

The Services may integrate with or rely upon third-party services, including banks, payment processors, payment gateways, communication providers, cloud infrastructure providers, and other technology providers. Your use of such third-party services may be governed by their respective terms and policies. SlashCollect is not responsible for the availability, performance, security, or policies of third-party services that are outside our reasonable control.

10. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Services available and reliable; however, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. The Services may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, technical issues, third-party service interruptions, network failures, security incidents, regulatory requirements, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services where reasonably necessary.

11. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Services may involve the collection and processing of personal and business information. Such information will be handled in accordance with our applicable Privacy Policy and relevant data protection laws. By using the Services, you acknowledge that certain information may need to be shared with payment processors, banking partners, technology providers, and other service providers to provide the Services and process transactions.

12. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the security of our platform and information processed through the Services. However, no internet-based system or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security of your account credentials, devices, systems, and access to the Services.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SlashCollect and its directors, employees, affiliates, partners, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Services. This includes, without limitation, losses arising from payment failures, transaction delays, business interruption, loss of revenue, loss of data, or reliance on third-party payment or banking services. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SlashCollect, its directors, employees, affiliates, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising out of your violation of these Terms; your misuse of the Services; your violation of applicable laws or regulations; your violation of the rights of another person or entity; or any unauthorized or fraudulent activity carried out through your account.

15. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms; we reasonably suspect fraudulent, unlawful, or abusive activity; your use of the Services creates a security, legal, or regulatory risk; we are required to do so by a payment partner, regulatory authority, or applicable law; or we discontinue the relevant Services. Upon termination, your right to access the applicable Services will cease, subject to any obligations that by their nature are intended to survive termination.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, business practices, legal requirements, or regulatory obligations. Updated Terms will be published on this website with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Services after the updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
